Conceived for indoor use and integrated directly into the wall, its plaster body creates a clean, continuous surface with the surrounding architecture. This recessed wall lamp is available in White and in S and L formats, allowing the same restrained language to adapt to corridors, bedrooms, lounges, reception areas and sophisticated contract interiors. The plaster structure requires integrated installation and can be painted after fitting, allowing architects and interior designers to match the lamp precisely to the wall finish or use a subtle tonal contrast. This paintable surface makes the wall lighting fixture especially effective in minimal interiors, hospitality spaces and carefully detailed residential projects where visible hardware would interrupt the architecture. The Abajourd'hui Small wall lamp preserves the same concept at a more compact scale, bringing the design into tighter areas without sacrificing its sculptural depth or the softness of its emitted light.

A seamless expression of the Flos design language

With Flos, the boundary between product and architecture becomes intentionally blurred. Abajourd'hui is recessed into the wall so that the surrounding surface participates directly in the lighting effect, while its simple geometry frames a soft wash of illumination rather than presenting a prominent shade or visible support. The plaster construction reinforces this sense of permanence and can be finished together with the wall for an almost built-in appearance. Suitable for residential and professional interiors, the Abajourd'hui plaster wall lamp works particularly well where lighting must contribute to ambience without competing with furniture, artwork or architectural materials. Its restrained presence gives spaces a calm, considered character while maintaining practical everyday illumination.

Coordinated architectural schemes with Flos Ceiling lights

Paired with Flos Ceiling Lights, Abajourd'hui can support a layered lighting scheme in which recessed, indirect and overhead sources work together to define circulation, mood and spatial hierarchy. Its soft wall illumination is effective in passageways, hotel suites, private living areas and design-led commercial environments, where glare control and visual calm are important. The S and L formats give specifiers flexibility across different wall dimensions, while the durable plaster body supports precise architectural integration.
