Created in 1971 by Giorgio Ceretti, Piero Derossi & Riccardo Rosso, this surreal seating piece has captivated audiences for decades with its ironic and playful reinterpretation of furniture. Resembling a vast patch of oversized blades of grass, the Pratone invites those who sit upon it to abandon conventions, immersing themselves in a postmodern landscape where design, art, and humor converge. Its radical silhouette represents a rebellion against bourgeois interiors, embodying the experimental energy of Italian Radical Design.

Crafted in Soft Polyurethane

Entirely made from soft polyurethane, the Pratone is meticulously shaped to create its monumental grassy stems.
